This was a good time -- pontoon time on Twin Lake.
Wait! who is driving?
Why isn't Dana at the helm?
Oh, probably Craig or Himself.
Don't you wish we were just getting to spring?
Instead of Fall?
Oh, Stop Nana!
Don't wish our life away!
Some folks love Fall BEST of all.
Gramma Hof did. She loved autumn and cool nights and the smell of burning leaves.
As does Himself.
I will try to appreciate each season, more fully.
Live one day at a time!
Seize the moment!

good times! Now if only we can get their laws overturned this spring so we can swim it will be even better!
like your "haiku"
I love fall best!
Had to look Haiku up. I'd heard of it but sure wouldn't have been able to define it. "Syllables or "on" in haiku. Japanese verse counts sound units (moras), known as "on". The word on is often translated as "syllable", but there are subtle differences between an "on" and an English-language "syllable". Traditional haiku consist of 17 on, in three metrical phrases of 5, 7, and 5 on respectively.
So guess my composition isn't reall Haiku but I like to think "poetry" anyway. ah, if only I had more time . . .
